Claestorp night light based on a historical model, Södermanland Manor Museum, Sweden, candle holder, candlestick, brass, gold

At the Claestorp estate in Södermanland (Sweden), there once existed a "night candlestick" or chamber candlestick, whose large plate was designed to prevent the candle from causing a fire. It now belongs to the collection of the Södermanland Museum and has been reproduced as a souvenir of Södermanland. The original dates back to the 18th century and is kept at the Södermanland Museum.

Made of shiny gold-colored brass with a stamped and raised pattern of flowers and leaves.
An eyelet on the back allows the chandelier to be hung when not in use, creating a radiant wall decoration. Either way – a truly beautiful and very special piece!

Diameter ∅ 25 cm, height: 6 cm, height of the edge: 2 cm.
Unused and in the original packaging. Two thin cracks have developed in the edge over the years.
