Slender octagonal vase from Japan with gold rim and colorful bird and flower motif.
The motif also has golden shining accents and shows very filigree and detailed images, including the typical Asian peonies and a pair of birds on a branch.

A particularly beautiful container for long branches such as pussy willows, corkscrew hazel or, of course, cherry blossoms :-)

Red stamp or porcelain mark on the bottom. The glaze has a subtle craquelure effect.
