Large antique copper planter with two brass side handles. The shape is slightly conical with a wide base, and the surface displays a natural patina with traces of green oxide. The curved handles are firmly riveted.
Outer diameter at the top approx. 42 cm, inner diameter at the bottom approx. 30 cm. Height approx. 28 cm, total width with handles approx. 43 cm (16.5 x 11.0 x 16.9 inches). The weight is about 3.4 kg. The condition is good considering its age - with signs of wear and dark interior discoloration.
Suitable as a rustic planter for the terrace or garden, but also looks good indoors or on the terrace, for example as a container for firewood, waste basket or bottle cooler.
