Handcrafted glass urn from the French manufacturer La Rochère. The vibrant cobalt blue is interspersed with melted-in threads of yellow, green, and orange. The surface exhibits the typical textures of hand-blown studio glass. The solid lid is crafted in a matching color and sits comfortably over the opening.
Height 27 cm, diameter at the widest point 16 cm (10.6 × 6.3 inches). With signs of wear. There is a small dent (comparable to an air bubble) on the edge of the lid, which is visible but barely palpable (see detailed image of the lid).
Ideal as a decorative collector's item, container for small items, or a modern lidded vase. Probably produced in France from the 1990s onward, signed "La Rochere France" on the base.
